What we use and why

Storyland Field does not use browser cookies set by the site itself. The only browser storage this site writes is a single localStorage entry to remember your cookie preference.

Type: localStorage (not a cookie; stays in your browser, never sent to a server)
Value: "accepted" or "rejected"
Purpose: Records whether you have accepted or rejected the cookie notice so it is not shown again on your next visit.
Expiry: Persists until you clear your browser's localStorage or this site clears it explicitly. No automatic expiry.
Third-party access: None. This value is never sent to any server.

Third-party resources

This site loads resources from two external domains:

• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com): IBM Plex Sans typeface files. Google may set their own cookies or store usage data. Refer to Google's privacy and cookie documentation for details.
• Wikimedia Commons (upload.wikimedia.org): Images used in editorial content. Wikimedia Foundation may log request information. Refer to Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy for details.

No advertising networks, social media widgets, or analytics services are loaded on this site. No advertising or tracking cookies are set by us or by third parties acting on our behalf.

Managing your preferences

You can clear the sf_cookie_pref localStorage entry at any time by opening your browser's developer tools, navigating to Application > Local Storage, and deleting the entry for this domain. This will cause the cookie notice to reappear on your next visit.

You can also manage cookies and site data through your browser settings. Standard browser controls allow you to block, delete, or restrict all local storage and cookies.
